Dengbêjen Me is a feature-length documentary that focuses on the lives, memories, experiences, and testimonies of dengbêjs, who are important carriers of the Kurdish oral storytelling tradition. The film documents this tradition, which has been passed down from generation to generation, through the dengbêjs’ own stories and the songs they perform.
