Nur Muhammed Tarhan

Nur Muhammed Tarhan is a screenwriter and director. After studying Literature at Istanbul University, he went on to study Film in Mainz. In 2018, while still a student, he directed his first short film, La Mante. In 2021, he completed his second experimental short film, Fig Leaves. In 2023, he was selected for the Netflix Writers Room Program in Prague. That same year, he directed his third short film, Cold Days, Hot Nights. Nur Muhammed is currently working on a new short film titled Uncle Te'sa (Apê Te'sa) and on his debut feature film project, September to September, which won the Best Screenplay Award at the Hessian Film and Cinema Awards in 2024.
