At a food distribution center, the paths of three women unexpectedly cross. Laura has recently been released on probation and is trying to stay out of trouble. But when the Kurdish woman Evîn is subjected to racist abuse by a man, Laura steps in to protect her. The confrontation escalates, and police officer Julia arrives to calm the situation. For a brief moment, the lives of these three women intersect before they continue on their separate paths. The film intertwines their stories into a powerful portrait of women shaped by violence and its lasting consequences. It explores how violence changes its form, disguises itself, and becomes part of everyday life, making it difficult to escape. War is the invisible thread connecting Evîn, Laura, and Julia. It is both distant and present. For Evîn, it is the recent war in which she fought as a member of a Kurdish women's military unit, a conflict that continues to haunt her even after arriving in Germany. For Laura, it is the burden of a past war passed down through generations by her mother. For Julia, war takes the form of an inner struggle and conflict within her own family. In different ways, all three women search for a language to express experiences that repeatedly force them into silence.
